ISS GS has completed the scrubbers delivery project from the port of Vung Tau (Vietnam) to shipyards located around the world: Korea, China, Turkey and Singapore. Project logistics specialists believe that this project is very important for the industry, as it will provide the opportunity to retrofit the vessels to meet IMO standards.

Starting from January 1, 2020 the use of marine fuel with sulfur content above 0.5% (HSFO) will be prohibited. Scrubber units remove impurities and retain sulphur which allows to continue the use of conventional marine fuel.
